WHAT IS PVC?
PVC is a lightweight and rigid board of moderately expanded closed-cell polyvinyl chloride (PVC) which is extruded in a homogeneous sheet with a low gloss matte finish perfect for printing on. As for the printing processes we have available for these signs, the most common is a Flatbed Printing with UV ink. The second is a solvent print onto a pressure sensitive vinyl that is mounted on the PVC. Custom PVC signs are similar to Sintra. PVC can also be referred to as Plastic Signs. PVC is suitable for both indoor & outdoor signage solutions. PVC plastic signs are available in a variety of colors, sizes, and can be easily be fabricated by sawing, drilling, welding, laminating, routing, die cutting, and heat transfer service offered in Miami. PVC signs can be any size, it comes stock in 4’ x 8’ sheets, so if you need PVC bigger than that don’t worry because we can tile or panel the sign together using special methods.

Gatorboard Gator Board is a durable board that resists dents and punctures. The exceptionally hard and smooth surface is uniform and blemish free. Photo mounters, artists, designers, sign painters, exhibit builders and engineers have counted on Gator Board for years. These Mounting Boards feature a light durable core of polystyrene foam. It is ideal for indoor or outdoor use. Gator Board is great for when you need more stability than the standard Foam Board.
Gator Boards are known for their stability and durability. These Gatorboard Gator Boards are plain and feature no adhesive. They are available in 3/16" (the same thickness as standard foam board), 1/2", 3/4", or 1" thick. Gator Board is great for presentations that will be handled often, or for documents that need the extra strength to hold up against unforeseen conditions.

ULTRA BOARD is a lightweight structural panel consisting of a rigid polystyrene foam core faced on both sides by a smooth, moisture resistant sheet of solid polystyrene. The foam and facers are permanently bonded together. The face laminates have been specially developed to provide an excellent surface for painting, silk screening, photo mounting and vinyl lay up. Together with these properties and the ease and multitude of shaping methods make ULTRA BOARD an excellent choice for signage, photo mounting, exhibits, point of purchase displays and routed letters.
EXTERIOR USAGE (WARING)
Not intended for exterior applications.
Under most conditions ULTRA BOARD panels will not warp; however, they may bow under certain conditions. Potential for bowing is much greater in thinner panels and in full 4 ft. x 8 ft. unsupported panels or on panels that are treated differently on one side than on the other, e.i., coating panels on only one side or exposing one side of the panel to a higher heat source than the other.
ULTRA BOARD panels are manufactured and packaged flat; occasionally, however, a panel may tend to bow after unpacking. These panels should and can be corrected by inverting the panel on a flat surface and allowing it to remain inverted (1-24 hours) until the warping has dissipated. To insure maximum flatness, full wood frames edge glued to the perimeters of the panel should be sufficient. Extruded aluminum channels or wood frames to fit panel edges also work well. For extremely critical applications, a thicker ULTRA BOARD panel should be used. For panels where coatings cover 50% or more of the surface area, it is advisable to similarly coat the opposite side.
